Should or should not is the question.
We should not use the word should anymore. It is not a useful word.
It belongs in the trash next to “How to market a squirrel.” That’s just nuts!
The word “should” is related to shall, which is a sexier word, especially with a soft purring accent. Should implies “aught” or “would” which is directly related to “someday.” Should can put us in the past or future, never the present. It creates internal limitations, resentfulness and blame that comes when we ignored what we “should have done” or “should do.”
“I should write that book” or ” I should have done that yesterday”. The best one, “Kt Cat, YOU should stop writing these weird word blogs.”
Should is the word of the mind that demands action which NEVER happen. It is a proverbial guilt trip word that is a procrastinator’s best friend. I know this for fact.
So, now what?
When it comes to finding mindfulness and purpose in your life, should is no longer allowed. The words do, will and can “should” must replace the word should. See what I mean! Paw thump to the head. All this talking about should, now makes the word sound funny.
If you understand this post, you should will read more posts on this blog.
I should will go pat the cat.
Let’s get ride of limitations as you pad your sassy ass toward your purpose. Shall we?
Love, Peace & Paws..KT!
