“To perceive is to suffer.”

Miss Mattie says…
I found a cat print in my litter box today.
I know this cause the designer scratching I did early this morning has been disturbed.
Yes, I saw it, the ridges and swirls.
I just might put my pink Sherlock homes hat on to evaluate this ridges and paw marking.
I will compare them to the other cats and find the cat culprit.
When you look close there are a few prints. Faint, but there. No one can get by my truth seeking perception.
I got the eye of the tiger when it comes to this stuff.
I padded away to see if I was imagining it.
Nope, it was still there when I went back.
The print is bigger then me, so I think I know who did it.
I took me a few moments to think about what this means. I feel violated.
I guess it is kinda like when me and Mr. Bailey go into the bathroom when our human is using her cat box. She never has peace and quiet.
Right now, my sacred zen garden has been invaded by another so I know how she feels.
I thought about peeing on this cat print, but then it will make it hard and permanent like stone. It would then look like a hollywood walk of fame star, except in cat print style.
Their imprint would be in concrete or in clumped hardened litter. Never to go away. ::shutter:: That will definitely show the truth of the situation. That would be no good.
I guess this is similar to walking in someone else’s shoes or paws. NO?
So I decided to rake around it, using my cat creativity. I made it into artwork. I added a little extra litter to cover up parts of the print. I also added a few lumps near by.
Looks rather zen and relaxing now.
I should be grateful, it could have been a dog.
Mr. Bailey’s wise cat wisdom.
You can never truly walk on another’s paws, but you can quiet your mind to listen to the sound of their foot steps.
This will help you find empathy as you learn to understand their journey and the direction they travel. Always stay in a mindset of cooperation, not competition when it comes to the road you travel.
Who knows, maybe your paw print will someday end up in their box too.
Just wipe your paws before you walk in my prints.
