“The bag and the box is just the container, the zen is really within the cat”
KT Cat Paws
Miss Mattie shared some of her funny “cat in a bag” Zen wisdom last week in part one.
Well, over this past week, she played, pondered and enjoyed her time in a few bags while destroying a few in the process. (It’s hard work trying to share her wisdom with the world) Be nice!
More words or meows of “bag” wisdom from Miss Mattie-the Paw Popping Pattie.
- A bag is durable yet flexible. Less set in its ways then a box.
- You can hang from a bag, but not a box. Sway with life, not against it.
- Although flexible, the wall of a bag are thin. Sometimes as a cat you must toughen our mindset.
- When a bag is on its side, the shape is more like a circle then a box. What is up could be down and vice versa. Gives a great perspective about what is really right or wrong.
- An empty bag doesn’t stand up well on its own so you shouldn’t leave that bag empty for long. Be helpful and supportive to those who need assistance.
- Over time the edges and the bag become softer, making it easy to place holes for a spacious view. This can remind us to be softer and spacious with our heart and mind.
- A bag has a crunchy sound to it when you hop on it, paw pop it or jump in it. It’s great for getting attention either by humans or your cat friends. If you are trying to be stealth-not so much.
- When you meow or sit on top of your soap box, you get a higher view and can spread the word. When you sit on your bag you get a flat reality.
- Leave your trash in the old bag; don’t drag it around or into a new bag.
- Lastly, be happy you have a bag, some cats don’t! Be grateful for the gift of the simple bag full of cat wisdom and zen.
A bag or a box, either way you can still find Zen and a cat in it.
What do you prefer? A box or a bag?
