“Cats inspire and captivate our senses and their gentle wisdom can guide us to find our own Inner Purr.”

Welcome to Cat Box Zen.
This site is for cat people..those who love & appreciate cats.
Cat Box Zen is changing. So, we appreciate your patience as we get this blog just right.
Just like every blog, we go though growing pains. We find out what works and what doesn’t and we do so by listening to our readers.
Here at Cat Box Zen we are bringing back more focus on the silly Zen and not-so-zen ways of my cats. Their examples of life mirror my own and I want to share more of that.
This is why I say….
“When we find Zen in cats, we reflect it in us.”
This is true.
You will still get inspiration, peace loving purrs, and a tad (dollop) of sarcasm. (A dollop is an understatement)
The Focus will be on my 2.5 cats. ( Gotta include T-Cat)
Miss Mattie is our spunky little 7 lb cat who is suppose to be in Zen training. She is actually more un-zen most times with her sassy attitude. She posts about her adventures with boxes, her thoughts on Mr. Bailey plus she shares her insight in “litter box wisdom.“
Don’t let her fool you, she runs the house and sometimes the blog.
She is also quick witted yet clueless at times.
Mr. Bailey, the Wise Zen Cat gives his mindful thoughts and Zen wisdom from his cushion of contentment. He is training Miss Mattie in her Zen ways so he likes to give her input on various topics, however, she doesn’t pay attention.
You can see how frustrating his life can be, yet he does his best to remain somewhat Zen. (That is debatable too.)
So, between the Zen and Not so Zen insights from my cats, you will sure to gain some wisdom and laughs.
Even I get to write a few blogs now and again. Yes, I am KT Cat Paws, AKA the “human.” When I am not posting for them, I am sharing quotes and cat pics on Facebook & Twitter.
Trouble Cat is the blog cat. When he has his glasses on, he keeps a watchful eye on us to make sure we are running the blog to his specifications. Occasionally he adds a post or two.
He has a bit of a catitude, so we need to be careful on the topics.
In addition to our changes, we will starting our new post called Thursday Cat Thoughts.

So, my cat friends…
This is Cat Box Zen!
I am glad you have padded your way here. I do hope you stay awhile and browse the posts. (And share with your friends)
We want you to feel at home at a place where there is always a cat prowling around, napping on your lap, or hiding in the corner ready to pounce. A place where you can connect, laugh and feel a paw print touch your heart.
Perhaps you will see something inspiring or reflective.
Maybe you will just laugh your ass off.
Either way, PLEASE keep in touch.
Leave a comment, follow our blog posts by e-mail or follow us on Facebook, Twitter and G-mail.
Peace, Hugs & Purrs!
