To me a Sassy Cat is vibrant, outgoing and truly embraced the uniqueness of *her cat essence. A sassy Cat lives life according to their ways and when it comes to Sassy, they are who they are with no apologies for being real. A sassy cat will stand for what is right, and fight against what is not.
In a society where many people are trying to live up to the expectations of others, it is refreshing to see different, defiant, challenging, and gutsy. All words for Sassy. M.E.O.W!
Sassy implies being real, alive and living life as the person you are; fully.
The saddest thing is when a Sassy Cat doesn’t realize her cat power.
Have you embraced yours?
Are you a Sassy Cat?
Trust – Most of us are not born with Sassy Attitude. Some of us struggle to find that Sassy part of our self. Over time a sassy cat will trust her own judgment and accept the knowledge that she is more than what she believes she is. A sassy cat will always be on a life path of learning; of rediscovering who she is. She can’t help it, she is inquisitive!
A Sassy Cat loves to change her mind and try different things, and that is ok. She trusts the process of self-discovery trusts her intuition and that internal voice that guides her to being more receptive to her inner purr; the place of true contentment of who she is.
Determined – Some people will call a Sassy Cat stubborn. She is persistent and determined, with a sprinkle of stubbornness. She pads to her own purpose and does so with her cat head held high. She will feel fear, but instead of allowing that fear to take over, she looks at the possibilities it holds. A cat who can’t explore is no good.
She will take one step at a time embracing the journey and the destination at the same time. She knows it is always the direction of the unknown that one must take. She uses her cat eye of perception to show the way and follows it in her own truth. When in doubt, she will shine her internal light in the dark corners of uncertainty.
Humble – A sassy cat has a big heart and loves deeply. She feels love that is real, raw and above all humble. There are times we she doesn’t feel Sassy at all, but instead feel rather discouraged, hurt or disappointed. The difference is a Sassy cat will take this time of discouragement and use it as a time of reflection. Some times this reflection will bring valuable insights into motivation. Sometimes there is a gentle awareness that being humble is not the sign of weakness, but of strength.
She may be a competitive cat within, but also realizes that working with others bring valuable insight and a heart-filled connection that is pawesome! A sassy cat learns that sometimes she may need others to help guide her way.
Awareness – One of the greatest gifts of a Sassy Cat is being open to being in Zen and mindfulness as she holds appreciation for the moment of now. She is receptive to the interconnecting possibilities around her; and in that space she becomes completely aware.
A sassy cat may be up on current topics, styles and know to the going on in the world, but a Sassy Cat is less about what she knows, and more about knowing herself. This is when the true power emerges; out of her inner strength and resilience. The determination continues from the deepest place within…that silent space that is linked to her unique paw print that she places upon the world and in your face (talk to the paw) if you get in her way!
Seeing a vibrant Sassy Cat find her purpose is better than catnip.
Embrace your Sassy Cat!
